2.1. Collection

Personal information that you share with us when placing an order is used to personalise your browsing experience on our website, as well as to process your order correctly, prevent fraud, deliver items, make payment transactions and communicate with you regarding your orders.

We also use this information for statistical purposes.

When you visit our website, we may ask you for information through questionnaires or forms, in particular when setting up your customer account.

Requested information marked with an asterisk is mandatory. This information is required in order to handle your requests. If you do not give a response, DIGITAL HOME will not be able to reply.

The purpose of other information is to let us know more about you and is therefore optional. You may choose not to provide a response.

When visiting our website, information on your session may be recorded using "Cookies" installed on your device, to enable us to provide personalised offers, suited to your interests. You may opt not to install cookies by following the procedure described below.

2.2. Marketing offers

DIGITAL HOME will contact you about its marketing offers by email, SMS and MMS (if you agreed to this), as well as by post or by telephone, if you did not object to this when your information was collected.

However, if you place an order and do not indicate that you do not wish to receive marketing offers, we may still use your email address to send you marketing offers for products similar to those in your order.

When sending promotional emails, the sender will be clearly marked as Yves Delorme and the nature of the promotion will be described in the subject field of the message. At the bottom of each message, you have the option to unsubscribe from our promotional emails with just one click.

Lastly, by providing us with your telephone number, you agree to be contacted about any important matters regarding your order, as well as promotional offers, by telephone.

You may opt to block calls from companies of which you are not a customer by signing up to www.bloctel.gouv.fr.

Some calls (inbound and outbound) may be recorded and/or used for Customer Service training and quality control purposes.

2.3. Recipients of information

Information that is collected is sent to DIGITAL HOME S.A.S., in the capacity of data controller.

Some information, including information of a personal nature, may be shared in a secure manner with technical partners contracted by DIGITAL HOME to perform certain essential functions in relation to account management, fulfilment of orders, delivery of goods and services, fraud prevention, payment processing, specific after-sales service functions and conducting customer satisfaction surveys.

Furthermore, absent any objection on your part when your information is collected, information about you may be shared with DIGITAL HOME commercial partners (including other FREMAUX group companies), who may send you marketing offers by mail (we do not share landline telephone numbers with commercial partners). They may send you offers by email where you have explicitly agreed to this.

2.4. Fraud prevention

In order to ensure secure payment for online transactions, prevent fraud and protect consumers in the context of distance selling, DIGITAL HOME has introduced necessary measures for the prevention of fraud and may be required to carry out automated processing of some of your personal information for the purposes of monitoring, directly or through its contractors, orders placed on the website, in order to check the regularity of information provided when orders are placed.

Where an order does not provide adequate guarantee of compliant and secure payment, DIGITAL HOME reserves the right to cancel the order or request additional information and documentation from you before an order can be approved.

2.5. Hosting of your personal information

Your personal information is stored on servers located within France only.

However, in order to perform certain functions, DIGITAL HOME may be required to transmit your data across servers that may be located anywhere in the world, or to allow service providers located abroad to access your personal information.

DIGITAL HOME will of course take all appropriate measures to ensure the security of personal information during transfer and receipt of such information. Contractors and service providers shall be bound contractually to DIGITAL HOME, who shall incorporate standard contract clauses (such as those published by the European Commission). Furthermore, DIGITAL HOME requires its contractors and service providers to guarantee an adequate level of security, confidentiality and protection of privacy and basic rights.

2.6. Your rights

In accordance with Article 34 of the Law on Information Technology, Data Files and Liberties of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, amend, correct and delete information relating to you. To exercise this right, please write to:

WEB Department

29 Rue de la Tannerie

BP 90009

59481 HAUBOURDIN Cedex

Please remember to include all of your contact details (full name, postal address, email address and, if possible, customer number) so that we can process your request promptly.

You may view and change your address information at any time in your customer account in the "My information" section and manage your newsletters in the "Newsletter subscriptions" section, or by writing to us at the above address.

3. Payment security

We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure by implementing strict procedures at our company.

For information collected on the website, we use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) secure protocol, which offers a high level of protection.

In order to ensure the security of payments, DIGITAL HOME uses the services of PCI DSS-certified service providers.

PCI DSS is an international security standard aimed at ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of cardholder information, thereby ensuring the protection of card and transaction information.

When you pay for an order by bank card, our order processing system connects in real time to our payment service providers, who collect your information and carry out a number of checks aimed at preventing abuse and fraud. Information is stored on the servers of payment service providers and is not sent to the servers of DIGITAL HOME.

Therefore, when you provide your bank card number, authorisation queries are automatically encrypted. Authorisations and information are then verified with your bank in order to prevent abuse and fraud.

In order to be able to debit an account when billing, or to credit an account following a return, our payment service providers retain bank account information linked to the authorisation number, for the length of time required to complete the transaction and process any claims (e.g. returns, disputes).

4. Social media

Our website uses third party computing applications, which allow users to share content from our website, or share their opinion regarding an item of content on our website with other users. Examples of this include the "Share" and "Like" buttons, linked to social media platforms such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc. When a customer visits a page that contains one or more of these buttons, the browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the social media platform. If the customer is logged into the social media platform at the time of browsing, the relevant buttons link the pages visited to his/her user account.

If a customer interacts via plug-ins, such as by clicking on the "Like" button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information will be sent to the social medial platform and posted on his/her account. If the customer does not want information collected through DIGITAL HOME to be linked to his/her social media account, he/she must log out of the relevant social media account before visiting the olivierdesforges website. We recommend that you read the privacy policies of these social media platforms, in order to learn more about how and why (e.g. for marketing purposes) browsing information collected using these app buttons is used.

5. Cookies

When visiting our website, information about your browsing activity may be recorded on "Cookies" installed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.).

We generate cookies in order to optimise your browsing experience on our website. They may be generated by our partners in order to offer you personalised advertising away from the website.

When you log into our website, we may, depending on how settings are configured on your web browser, be required to install various cookies on your device, including:

  • Analytics cookies, aimed at collecting visitor statistics (e.g. number of visits, pages viewed, abandoned orders, etc.) in order to monitor and improve our services.

  • Cookies that are strictly necessary, used in particular to adapt our website display to the display preferences on your device or for saving your order basket.

  • Functional cookies, used to:

    • Memorise information entered on forms, manage and provide secure access to reserved and private spaces such as your account, and to manage your order basket.

    • Provide you with content, including advertising, related to your interests and to personalise offers that we send you.

5.2. Third-party cookies

When you visit our website, one or more cookies may be installed on your computer via our website pages or via content shared in our advertising space, either by the advertiser responsible for the content in question, or by a third party (e.g. marketing agency, audience survey company, targeted advertising provider, etc.), who linked a cookie to the content of an advertiser. Where applicable, and for as long as they are valid, these cookies may enable third parties to:

  • Keep track of the number of times advertising content shared in our advertising space has been shown, identify the advertisements shown, the number of users to have clicked on each advertisement, thereby allowing third parties to calculate the resultant amounts owed, and produce statistics (analytics cookies);

  • Recognise your device for subsequent browsing on any other website or service on which the advertisers or third parties also generate cookies and, if necessary, to adapt these third-party websites and services, or the advertisements that they share, to any identified browsing activity on your device (advertising cookies).

These cookies are used to show you advertisements or send information related to your interests on or away from our website when browsing the internet.

The generation and use of cookies by third parties are subject to the relevant privacy policies of these third parties. We have no access to, nor control over, third party cookies. However, we do take care to ensure that partner companies process information collected on our website in accordance with the Law on Information Technology, Data Files and Liberties.

5.3. Your options for cookies

"Adobe Flash Player"© is a software application that enables rapid dynamic content development using the "Flash" programming language. Flash (and similar applications) memorises settings, preferences and the use of this content using technology that is similar to cookies. However, "Adobe Flash Player"© handles this information and your selections using a different interface to that provided by your web browser. If your device is enabled for viewing content developed using Flash, we recommend that you access the tools for managing Flash cookies directly from the Adobe website: http://www.adobe.com/en/. • Recording your online preferences on cross-industry platforms

You can also visit the Youronlinechoices website, established by members of the European Digital Advertising Alliance and operated in France by Interactive Advertising Bureau France.

This European platform is shared by hundreds of internet advertising professionals and acts as a central interface, allowing you to refuse or accept cookies used to adapt advertising to the browsing activity on your device (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices).

Note that this procedure will not prevent advertisements from being displayed on websites that you visit. It will only block the technologies used for targeted advertising based on your interests.

When you visit our website, the following partners may install Cookies on your browser and collect other technical information on your browsing activity in order to provide you with targeted advertising based on your interests on any interactive medium (web, mobile, email).
